About 2.5 months ago, my jakes seem like they are only half there. They make the sound but holding the truck or slowing it down, not so much. I found that the top of my wiring harness had been rubbed through partially by the AC lines across top of motor.This is normal. On the later engines the jakes would not come on at idle. Manifold pressure is down as well but I believe its a sensor because the truck is running good. Changed out all three sylinoids. jakes are working in low med and high however doesnt hold you back.
