I find that ironic since this gun was supposedly designed for SSR in IDPA competition. I can't imagine trying to run a match without speedloaders. I suppose I'll go ahead and spring for a new set of grips vs grinding on the originals. Thanks for the input.The older Pachmayr grips were awesome. My used 686 came with one and I deeply lament losing it. I’ll probably look for an old set on Gunbroker, or try something else.
