Super easy, the worst part was knocking the old washers loose. Front diff: easy to do flat on the ground. The exhaust is on the left side, so there is easy access to the fill plug.TR-580 CVTF Change. 2017 CrossTrek CVT fluid Change. Close drain plug with gasket torqued to 23 ft-lb. Fill the CVT with equal amount of fresh CVT fluid, starts to flow after 3.0 Qt. Open fill plug and observe fluid level while engine running, add approx. 1.5 Qt. more CVTF.
